Hello and welcome!

I have been a professional painter for over 20 years. In my early twenties, I was fortunate enough to study the Fine Arts techniques of the Old Masters at a private school. Then, wanting to rebel a little, I went on to study contemporary art at Concordia University. There, I had the privilege of studying abstract painting under Françoise Sullivan, a living legend in the Canadian visual arts scene.

I spent many years working purely in abstraction and had several major exhibitions, including one in New York in 2013.

Having worked in special effects for movies for the past few years, I have rediscovered my passion for figurative art. My style now lies at the intersection of figurative and abstract art. I like each of my canvases to have a tangible presence as well as an intangible atmosphere. A great lover of color theory, my paintings are an ode to the beauty of pigments. Feel free to contact me!
